The Loan Assistant Supervisor leads the Loan Assistant team responsible for supporting loan officers and ensuring efficient loan preparation and documentation. This role focuses on supervising daily operations, maintaining compliance, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team ensuring that quality and compliance standards are met. This role works as a liaison between lenders and loan assistant staff to delegates work as needed, sometime stepping in to cover front-end processes during absences.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the Loan Assistants in their daily tasks, including loan document preparation, customer communication, and file maintenance. Address and resolve operational issues and escalate complex matters to the Loan Operations Manager when necessary.
- Ensure all loan documentation complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Tracks and monitors team performance and progress towards goals & standards. Ensures completion of all work by staff in an accurate fashion and within the timelines and practices established by state, federal and bank guidelines. Recommend coaching, training, and development opportunities. Assist in the preparation an delivery of annual review assessment for loan assistant team members.
- Collaborate with the Loan Operations Support Supervisor to ensure seamless coordination across teams.
- Oversees and delegates all loan assistant duties as needed; maintain proficiency in all front-end jobs within the loan operations area and be able to back-up, when needed. Supervise complete of overdraft, insurance and final title reports by loan assistant staff.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
