medical administrative support specialist to the office team to work Mondays through
Thursdays. The candidate for this position will serve as the medical administrative
support specialist for the CFO. The ideal candidate for this position should be
well-spoken, organized, detail-oriented, responsive, helpful, and possess excellent
customer service skills, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the simultaneous ability to multi-task/balance
multiple work responsibilities while maintaining an appropriate level of productivity.Your
responsibilities will include assisting healthcare providers, scheduling appointments,
and ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Insurance Claims Processing: Process insurance claims in compliance
with legal requirements.
2. Medical Software Usage: Utilize medical software for transactions.
3. Financial Record Management: Manage receivable and payable
accounts, maintaining accurate financial records..
4. Compliance: Ensure adherence to procedures and stay updated with
changes in medical and insurance legislation.
5. Prepare and submit credentialing applications: Collect and organize
necessary documents for initial and re-credentialing applications.
6. Verify credentials: Conduct primary source verification of licenses,
certifications, and other credentials.
7. Maintain records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all
credentialing activities in the database.
8. Monitor expirations: Track expiration dates of licenses and certifications,
and notify providers of upcoming renewals.
9. Coordinate with departments: Communicate with various departments
to gather required information and ensure smooth credentialing
processes.
10. Compliance: Ensure all credentialing activities comply with state and
federal regulations and accreditation standards.
11. Assist with audits: Prepare documentation and assist with internal and
external audits related to credentialing.
12. Customer service: Respond to inquiries from providers, staff, and
external agencies regarding credentialing status and requirements.
13.Answering telephone calls and taking messages and communicating
information between healthcare providers and the patient.
Salary : $20 - $23
