Job Overview

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Pricing Analyst for our growing Transportation Solutions Division. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and analyzing pricing strategies related to logistics, transportation, and supply chain services. This role manages RFQ activities, oversees complex project pricing, and effectively responds to pricing requests, and other bidding opportunities. The Pricing Analyst collaborates with multiple departments to ensure competitiveness and profitability across the company in compliance with client requirements. This position includes a competitive salary with comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Develop pricing models and cost estimates for logistics services
• Analyze market trends, historical data, and competitor pricing to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Maintain up-to-date pricing databases across multiple services.
• Assess cost structures for transportation modes:
  • Truckload (TL) (Brokerage and Asset based), Less-than-Truckload (LTL), Drayage,
• Support Sales & Business Development teams by preparing quotes and pricing proposals for RFPs.
• Building financial models and profitability analyses.
• Assisting with negotiation of pricing terms with clients, carriers, and vendors.
• Track pricing trends, customer margins, and performance metrics.
• Create dashboards and reports to identify revenue opportunities and pricing efficiency.
• Partner with Operations and Finance to align pricing with service capabilities and budget goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or cost modeling within the transportation industry.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling).
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), and transportation pricing software is a plus.
• Knowledge of truckload freight pricing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
