The standard hours are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

YOUR ROLE AS A RECREATION ASSISTANT
As a Recreation Assistant, you get to create memorable experiences that enrich our residents' lives in many ways. From recreational and physical activities to social, cultural, and religious events - you do it all! You don't just organize events - you build genuine connections with our residents. Every day, you have the chance to share personal moments and create lasting memories. Together, you make sure their unique needs are met and come up with fresh ideas for engagement.
You will also lead exercise classes to promote physical wellness among our residents, adding another layer of engagement and fun to their days. Occasionally, you may need to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds when assisting with event setups or other physical tasks.
You serve independent living residents, assisted living residents, and patients of our memory care center. Your positive energy and enthusiasm help transform our community into a place where every resident feels valued and supported. Seeing their joy and happiness brings you immense satisfaction!
ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?
Here's what we need from you:
- 21 years or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing with residents, families, and the general public
- Ability to make presentations to a variety of groups
- Basic computer skills (being tech-savvy is a plus!)
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement a varied program of social recreation, cultural, and religious activities for a large population of seniors
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
