STAFF ATTORNEY
ST. JOSEPH, MO
Legal Aid of Western Missouri seeks a full-time staff attorney for its St. Joseph, Missouri office, to assist with housing and consumer cases. The attorney will represent clients in administrative, judicial, and legislative forums, as needed. The attorney will represent clients in Buchanan County and seventeen other outlying rural counties in Northwest Missouri.
The qualified candidate must have the following:
- Active Missouri bar license.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Desire and commitment to assist in the delivery of high-quality legal assistance to low-income clients.
- Ability to speak a second language, preferred, but not required.
- Courtroom experience, preferred.
Pay: $65,000/year DOE
