Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. We are a new restaurant to the downtown Charleston area in a premier location right on King Street. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations
- Assist in organizing and executing banquet events
- Utilize basic math skills to handle payments and reconcile cash drawers
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fine dining or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and promote specials
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
