The Role:
Legend is hiring a Junior Commercial Data Operations Executive to join our growing team, reporting directly to the Commercial Data Operations Lead.
This is an entry-level position ideal for someone looking to kickstart a career in data operations. Some professional office based experience is an asset but not required-just a strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and an interest in working with data. Full training, support, and ongoing guidance will be provided.
As a key member of the Commercial Data Operations team, you’ll play an important role in manually extracting, entering, and verifying data to ensure accuracy and consistency across our systems. Your work will directly support the integrity of our commercial data, which is essential for key decision-making across the business.
You'll learn how to conduct quality assurance checks, monitor data health, and help resolve discrepancies. Over time, you'll also contribute to reporting and process improvement initiatives.
\n- End-of-Month Data Checks: Help with reconciliation of commercial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Data Extraction & Uploads: Perform weekly (and eventually daily) manual data extracts from commercial accounts and upload into internal systems.
- Manual Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across various internal tools.
- Quality Assurance (QA): Conduct regular and ad hoc QA checks to ensure data consistency across platforms.
- Track Data Discrepancies: Log any data issues in a clear, structured format to support troubleshooting.
- Escalate Issues: Share discrepancies with the Team Lead, including all relevant details and context.
- Support Data Standardisation: Help ensure data from partners is formatted consistently for smooth processing.
- Team Collaboration: Assist the Commercial Data Ops team with ongoing data tasks and improvement projects.
- Task Tracking: Use JIRA and Kanban boards to manage tasks and stay on top of deadlines.
- A strong eye for detail and a methodical approach to completing tasks.
- Comfortable working with numbers and performing basic data checks.
- An interest in learning about data operations and the affiliate marketing industry.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to stay focused and accurate when handling repetitive tasks.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to take on feedback.
- Fluent in English, we are a global business and English is our primary language.
- 1st: Initial Chat with Talent Partner (30 mins via Zoom)
- 2nd: Interview with the Head of Commercial Operations and People Partner (1 hour video via Zoom)
- 3rd: Final onsite interview in our Varna office (1 hour)
