Well established architectural millwork company seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and drive projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of project management methodologies. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the successful oversight of various assigned projects from start to completion.
- Facilitates job kick off meetings, oversight of scope development, and participate in design and engineering phases.
- Coordinates schedules with contractors, manage submittals of hardware/samples, review shop drawings, and monitors the progress.
- Conducts field measurements to confirm dimensions and ensure accurate fit & installation of millwork components.
- Develop schedules for production of shop drawings; materials purchases; shop production and delivery.
- Liaison with architects, general contractors, and subcontractors to maintain open communication while providing consistent project updates.
- Works closely with field coordinators and sub installers to establish layouts, field measurements, and communicate scope of work.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of the commercial architectural millwork business
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time management abilities with demonstrated capability to meet deadlines timely
- Comprehensive computer skills; Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
- Familiarity with INNERGY ERP system is a plus
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma: Trade school preferred
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in related field, such as Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a similar environment
