TEKLeigh is hiring for a Senior Project Manager. TEKLeigh is based in St. Louis, Missouri but the position is remote. Some travel to clients and the TEKLeigh office may be required. Competitive compensation based on experience.
As a Project Manager at Leigh Consulting, you will hold a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of technology implementation projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the quality and reliability of project outcomes, working closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. This role presents an exciting leadership opportunity to transform technology implementations and drive continuous improvement in project management processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- Must have previous experience in a consulting environment with a demonstrated ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field
- 10 - 15 years experience as a Project Manager or similar role in technology implementation projects. Must be highly proficient in:
- Project planning, estimation and planning
- Stakeholder and product owner management, negotiation, and communication skills
- Business process evaluation
- Microsoft Suite and project management software (JIRA, Monday.com, or similar)

The ideal candidate also has the following:
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of successfully leading project teams to achieve project goals
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus
- Scrum Master Certification
- Experience managing in Agile or Scrum projects and familiarity with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Previous experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and business environments
Job Duties:
- Expertly manage the successful completion of singular project or multiple large-scale internal IT projects by executing full lifecycle project management practices to meet project requirements
- Build and manage all aspects of assigned projects, including day-to-day operational and financial aspects which include project budget, project scope, stakeholder interactions and expectations
- Facilitate communication and foster collaboration among project stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project objectives and expectations
- Communicate relevant project information to appropriate parties, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
- Facilitate the change management process needed to achieve the desired results of assigned projects
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively addressing challenges to minimize project disruptions.
- Actively lead the documentation, communication, management and escalation of risk across project and/or multiple projects
- Coordinate the review of project deliverables for stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Lead project review meetings, conducting post-mortem analyses to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process improvement.
- Organize and facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review and retrospective
- Help identify and drive opportunities to improve overall user experience performance including process and methodology evolution
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management methodologies and best practices.
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners for optimized systems integration and respond to questions and concerns from managers and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
