Summary

Office assistant/ manager who is organized, can multi-task, has excellent communication skills, fluent in Word, Adobe, Excel, Google docs, etc. can manage complex scheduling requirements, work with various government agencies and educational organizations, and can act as a central hub of information for the administration, the teachers, and the families of Leila Day School


Duties

Direct report to the Director of Operations and to the Executive Director

Answer phones

Organize digital and hard copy files in the office

Prepare google docs, excel sheets, communications with teachers, families and other organizations and businesses

Keep track of absences and staff schedules

Support the Executive Director in two major fund drives, and various other admin tasks

Support the Director of Operations in enrollment and admissions and various other admin tasks

Support the Assistant Director in keeping up-to-date all manuals, educational materials, and other relevant documents

Keep inventory and order school supplies

Learn about and support admin staff with all external agencies and internal administrative practices


Requirements

B.A.

Fluency in Word, Adobe, Excel, Google Docs, etc.

Reliable, consistent, enthusiastic work ethic

Great communication skills

Attention to detail

Kind, caring person

Experience in a school environment
