JOB TITLE: Site Coordinator Caney, Kansas

Position Summary
The Site Coordinator will act as the liaison between the property owners and the project team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Meeting with property owners after project plans are approved by EPA, property assignments have been issued, and EPA agrees to the sequence of property remediation.
- In initial meeting(s), the SC will work with property owners to gain signed access agreements for properties that do not have an agreement in place.
- After the initial property reconnaissance and receipt of signed access agreements, if original site sketches provided by EPA do not accurately depict current property conditions or areas to be remediated, assist in updating site sketches and submit to EPA for approval.
- The SC will meet with the owner and tenant of each property prior to any remedial activity and will remain a consistent resource for the property owner throughout the project.
- The SC will explain what to expect from removal/restoration activities, schedule of activities, and how to manage expectations.
- With the property owner and/or tenant present, the SC and EPA Technical Support (ETS) will record detailed notes and directions on the site sketch. This data will be translated into a final excavation/restoration plan for the property, including property items to be moved or disposed and will be accompanied by pertinent photos taken during the walk-through to assist the remediation team.
- Establishing an open line of communication between the property owners and the site team is a crucial step to ensure owner satisfaction when the work is complete.
- The SC will work under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) and Site Superintendent (SS). In addition, the SC will serve as the primary interface with property owners during property remediation.
- Complete Property Pre-Excavation Inspection Checklists to document pre-excavation conditions at each residential property.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Coordinator or similar role
- Project management skills
- Up to date knowledge of health and safety requirements and quality assurance systems
- Excellent communication and internal stakeholder management skills
- Time-management and prioritization skills; the ability to set and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to foresee problems before they arise
- Leadership skills and the ability to inspire greater productivity from workers
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Must possess and retain a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check
Physical Demands
- Individuals must have the ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of workday and capability to move within the field. Any person in this position needs the ability to operate any field equipment used within the Construction Industry. There is a requirement to traverse multiple terrain types in outdoor weather conditions along with the ability to position self in a stoop, kneel, or crouch position. Individuals must be able to wear full construction PPE.
