What You’ll Offer:
- Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Business Concentration
- Master's Degree and/or CPA Preferred
- Over 5 years progressively responsible experience in finance and accounting
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Preferred experience in:
- Grants and Contracts Administration
- Non-Profit &/or healthcare sectors
- MIP Software
- Ability to perform the physical requirement of the job description, with or without accommodation.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling account activity
- Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
- Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy and report on any discrepancies
- Grants management and grants accounting
- Reviews, adjusts as necessary, and performs monthly data upload from the billing system into the accounting system
- Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures for duties assigned
- Assist in gathering and reconciling data for annual audits as required
