Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ.
Position Summary:
The Christian Family Centre exists to glorify Jesus Christ and is actively seeking individuals with a desire to see lives transformed. The Evening Manager is responsible for the oversight of the facility, staff, and members, creating a culture that furthers the mission, vision, and values of The Centre during the afternoon, evening, and Saturday hours. Work hours are primarily weekdays 1:30 – 9:30 PM and Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Positive, engaging personality to create a safe, memorable experience for all facility patrons.
- Recruit, hire, schedule, and train Centre supervisors and volunteers.
- Develop and lead afterschool programming.
- Assist the Aquatics Manager with staff and program management.
- Oversee all activities that are present in the facility on their shift. Be familiar with the calendar of events, remaining visible and providing oversight in the appropriate area.
- Be proactively involved in discipline or conflict issues that arise with members or guests. Use H.O.P.E principles to guide conversations. Follow intervention process and document situations through incident reports.
- Be aware and take responsibility for the treatment of First Aid and or AED machine usage.
- Assist staff with member relations, specific tasks or other necessary responsibilities.
- Greet all groups and see that they receive exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Properly open or close assigned areas, making sure that all procedures are followed and documented.
- Assist with Information Desk and Café cash drops or change when needed.
- Record accurate usage statistics.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Christian Faith:
Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.
- Assertive nature to detect, diffuse, and deal with concerns in a healthy and God honoring way.
- Ability to enforce policies and procedures in a positive manner.
- Ability to stand and walk inside & outside for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification or the ability to acquire certification.
- Assertive nature to detect, diffuse, and deal with concerns in a healthy and God honoring way.
- Ability to enforce policies and procedures in a positive manner.
- Ability to stand and walk inside & outside for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
