What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Manager position at Lenkbar LLC?
Position Summary:
Plan, direct, coordinate and perform all Human Resources activities in accordance with applicable Federal & State Legislation.
This role is an HR Department of 1 and is responsible for handling all aspects of HR for the Naples, FL plant with approximately 130 employees.
Role is Full Time Onsite
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of recruiting efforts to fill vacant positions by sourcing resumes, screening candidates, scheduling interviews and providing the appropriate follow-up with candidates in a timely manner.
- Serve as the payroll administrator which includes maintaining time and labor system, processing time records, compiling payroll statistics, maintaining payroll records, and calculating payrolls and managing earnings and deductions according to company policy and state and federal regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Administer company insurance benefits programs for health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. Conduct annual open enrollment meetings and process all open enrollment, qualifying event and new hire enrollments and changes.
- Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures and conducts annual re-evaluation of policies for effectiveness.
- Administer other company benefits programs including 401K, paid time off, PPE reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, etc.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing HR programs to ensure they continue to meet strategic goals. Research industry trends and makes recommendations for changes in processes and procedures.
- Direct the interpretation and application of established HR practices and procedures throughout the organization to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
- Administer the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), including advising employees of their rights and responsibilities, ensuring all required paperwork is issued, completed and returned, issuing designation notices, and tracking the amount of leave being taken in accordance with Federal and State Legislation.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resource functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
- Maintain HRIS by processing new hires, changes, terminations, transfers, benefits enrollment, etc. in an efficient and timely manner.
- Review and make recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization's HR
