Responsibilities
This project manager is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of multiple large projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. This includes taking projects from original concept through final implementation.
Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Define project scope and objectives.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
- Conduct project meetings and take responsibility for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
- Optimize resource utilization and achievement of client expectations.
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
- Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions to problems.
- Make decisions on client requirements and schedule changes.
- Ensure budgetary compliance.
- Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience. PMP or equivalent certification required.
Broad expertise in project planning methodologies. Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to engage project team members to complete tasks and meet deadlines without direct managerial authority.
