The HVACR Instructor is responsible for providing quality skills instruction to our HVACR students through seated and practical hands-on/lab courses. The Instructor is responsible for providing one-on-one and whole group instruction so that students are able to acquire the skills expected in a "high-quality esthetics" environment. The instructor's duties will include promoting HVACR programs in local and surrounding communities by advocating workforce development opportunities.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Certification in A/C, heating and refrigeration technology or related field requiredMinimum of five years residential and/or commercial A/C, heating and refrigeration work experience requiredMust be willing to acquire the NATE certificationMinimum of five years residential and/or commercial A/C, heating, and refrigeration work experience requiredEPA Refrigerant Recovery certification requiredWorking ConditionsTeaching assignments will include evenings and weekends to accommodate student needsCandidate will work days, evenings, and weekendsOccasional travel to maintain proficiency and promote the programs
