Full-time certified Special Education Teacher for position in Lenox Public Schools beginning 25/26 School Year. Current Massachusetts teacher licensure in moderate disabilities, Pre-K - 8 or 5-12 required, with additional credentials in reading preferred. Experience with design and implementation of specialized instruction, co-teaching, curriculum modification for inclusion classes, advanced training in reading, as well as proficiency in diagnostic assessments and all aspects of the IEP process are beneficial. Must be able to work collaboratively with teachers, counselors and program administrators on student and program issues. Master’s Degree also preferred.
COMPENSATION: Per LEA Unit A contract
Lenox Public Schools provide a generous reimbursement toward the tuition and fees incurred in pursuit of a Master’s degree for educators hired who do not yet hold a Master’s degree.
