One of our clients is looking for a Cypress Automation Developer to add onto their team. The Cypress Automation Engineer will be assigned various projects to enhance the enterprise tech stacks. The Cypress Automation Developer will demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills to develop innovative automation solutions.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2
Responsibilities
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress and TypeScript.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and ensure data integrity.
- Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Love diving into business requirements and collaborating with stakeholders to create impactful solutions.
- Experience: 5-7 years in a test automation development role.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Cypress and TypeScript is mandatory.
- SQL Knowledge: Ability to write and execute simple to medium SQL queries.
- CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and similar tools.
- Methodologies: Understanding of Agile practices, SDLC, and STLC.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Work Style: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
