Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Technical role managing servers, systems, and core IT services supporting network infrastructure.
- Install and configure servers to ensure proper functionality and integration with existing systems.
- Manage virtual environments, ensuring optimal performance and resource allocation.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues to maintain high availability.
- Implement patches and updates to keep systems secure and up to date.
- Maintain security protocols to protect systems and data from threats.
- Test backups regularly to ensure reliable data recovery in case of system failure.
- Support system migrations by ensuring a smooth transition of services and minimizing downtime.
- Document procedures for server setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
- 1 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux OS administration
- Expertise in Active Directory administration
- Experience with hardware and software management
- Strong understanding of security fundamentals
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies
- Skilled in problem analysis and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or equivalent certification.
- Expertise in PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) administration
- Experience with compute and storage systems management
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration and client interaction
