Service Writer Job Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
- Maintain timely communication with customers and associates.
- Assist customers with their service and warranty questions and needs, either in person, via the telephone, or through texting.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other purchasing transactions
- Operate dealership software system to search for parts and customer accounts, create work orders with descriptions and photos to properly apprise technicians of the work to be completed.
- Schedule customer pick up or delivery
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Service Writer Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Team oriented
- Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Previous service writer experience preferred, trailer experience a plus!
- detailed orientated person with good writing skills to document customer concerns and work preformed to correct the situation.'
