What are the responsibilities and job description for the Avionics/Electrical Liaison Engineer II position at Leonardo Helicopters?
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide engineering support to production activities to meet AWPC safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. This position requires good knowledge of the rotorcraft avionic installations as well as the standard aeronautical electrical installation design procedures. Daily duties include, but are not limited to, supporting assembly and fabrication of all AWPC helicopter lines, with problem solving in fit / form / function questions and technical issues coordinating the solution within the LH design dept. Liaison Engineer is also responsible for drafting or review of electrical installations for helicopter customizations and completions, in compliance with EASA and FAA regulations.
Main related tasks are :
- Absolving day-to-day activities of sustaining engineering team accomplishing the goals and objectives established by the Head of P145 / P21 Design Engineering
- Support Manufacturing Engineering coordinating the new electrical design changes to be injected into Production environment.
- Support Production Engineering in troubleshooting fit / form / functional issues during aircraft build-up.
- Attending and interfacing with the Design Organization (DO) for configuration changes.

A. Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred), or equivalent
B. Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering environment, preferably aerospace.
Combination of education and / or experience which would permit performance of essential
duties and responsibilities.
