We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of an apartment community. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants through effective customer relationship management.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and Gulf Coast/Section 8 housing requirements.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Address tenant concerns and conflicts in a professional manner, utilizing conflict management skills.
- Maintain accurate records of property activities, including lease agreements, maintenance requests, rent and utility collections.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong customer relationship management abilities to foster positive tenant interactions.
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail in filing and documentation.
- Familiarity with LIHTC and Section 8/Gulf Coast regulations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices and legal administrative procedures.
- Effective conflict management skills to resolve tenant disputes amicably.
- Strong phone etiquette for professional communication with tenants, vendors, and prospects.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
