Position Overview :

LeoTerra Development is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer, Land Development to lead engineering efforts for residential and mixed-use development projects. The ideal candidate will manage site design, grading, stormwater management, and utility coordination, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan, design, and oversee civil engineering aspects of land development projects, including site layouts, grading plans, roadways, and utility systems.
• Prepare and review construction plans, technical reports, and specifications to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Manage engineering consultants and contractors, providing technical guidance and quality control throughout project phases.
• Conduct site evaluations, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments to support project planning and design.
• Oversee stormwater management design, erosion control plans, and drainage systems in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to secure necessary permits and approvals for development projects.
• Provide technical expertise in zoning, land use regulations, and entitlement processes.
• Support due diligence efforts, including site investigations, utility assessments, and geotechnical evaluations.
• Represent LeoTerra Development in meetings with governmental agencies, stakeholders, and community representatives.
• Ensure all engineering activities adhere to ethical and professional standards.
• Travel as required to project sites and regulatory meetings.
