- This is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer, Land Development to lead engineering efforts for residential and mixed-use development projects.
- The ideal candidate will manage site design, grading, stormwater management, and utility coordination, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Plan, design, and oversee civil engineering aspects of land development projects, including site layouts, grading plans, roadways, and utility systems.
- Prepare and review construction plans, technical reports, and specifications to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Manage engineering consultants and contractors, providing technical guidance and quality control throughout project phases.
- Conduct site evaluations, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments to support project planning and design.
- Oversee stormwater management design, erosion control plans, and drainage systems in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to secure necessary permits and approvals for development projects.
- Provide technical expertise in zoning, land use regulations, and entitlement processes.
- Support due diligence efforts, including site investigations, utility assessments, and geotechnical evaluations.
- Represent in meetings with governmental agencies, stakeholders, and community representatives.
- Ensure all engineering activities adhere to ethical and professional standards.
- Travel as required to project sites and regulatory meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- 7 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil site design, grading, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working with municipal governments and public agencies.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal land development regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
