We have a position for an experienced power electronic controls engineer to support manufacturing.
What you will be doing
- Factory floor and service team support for electronics including :
- urgent reactionary work
- internal and supply side issues
- troubleshooting
- answering customer questions
- service support
- PowerGen controls support email (pecontrols) - processing gen tech controls for U.S. based inquiries
- Act as Liaison between factory floor - engineering - supplier teams
- Document trouble tickets (PE controls inbox and status)
- Document mini project tasks - spreadsheet-keep updated
- Provide input into agile planning
- Field requests - assess size of project then meet with leadership to discuss
- Schedule weekly meeting with leadership to review work
- Communicate commitments to customers and status if the date is pushed
- Manage the process of troubleshooting to root cause and solution including the following steps :
- PQC product quality council
- Apply the 7step process (manage to understand problem, determine root cause, go through steps 5&6 for the long-term solution into product, step 7 avoid problem in future)
