Licensed Social Worker (LSW) – Part-Time
Organization: Leveling Up Therapeutics
Location: School-Based Program
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:15 PM – 7:15 PM
Compensation: $35/hour (No benefits at this time, but will be offered as the organization grows)
Position Overview:
Leveling Up Therapeutics is seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to conduct diagnostic assessments (DX assessments) for new children entering our therapeutic program and facilitate group therapy sessions at a school-based setting. All documentation must adhere to CARF standards as we uphold a strict documentation policy.
When DX assessments are scheduled during group hours, a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) will facilitate the group session. The LSW will have an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes after group to complete documentation.
Key Responsibilities:1. Diagnostic Assessments (DX Assessments)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for new children in the program.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Ensure all assessments comply with CARF accreditation and Medicaid standards.
2. Group Therapy Facilitation
- Lead therapeutic group sessions for children ages 5-15.
- Implement structured activities focusing on emotional regulation, social skills, and behavior management.
- When conducting a DX assessment during group hours, the QMHS will facilitate the session in the LSW’s absence.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Complete progress notes and treatment plans daily, following CARF and Medicaid documentation standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely records to ensure compliance with agency policies.
- Utilize the additional 1 hour and 15 minutes after group (6:15 PM – 7:15 PM) to finalize documentation.
Qualifications:
- Active LSW License in the state of [Insert State].
