Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Social Worker (LSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges with youth and adults. This role involves providing therapeutic support, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients. The LSW will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Utilize skills in crisis management and intervention to support clients in acute distress.
• Engage in motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client participation in their treatment process.
• Offer addiction counseling services as needed, addressing substance use issues with sensitivity and expertise.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share insights on client progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay informed about developments in the field of social work and behavioral health to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

• degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
• Experience in behavioral health settings preferred, with demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and management.
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques and addiction counseling is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting.
• Ability to supervise and mentor less experienced staff effectively.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in social work practice.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
