Position Overview :
The Head of Human Resources will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing leadership across all HR functions for the parent company and its divisions. This individual will design and implement HR strategies that support organizational growth, enhance company culture, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role requires a hands-on leader capable of working across complex organizational structures while driving efficiency, collaboration, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the firm's business goals, fostering synergy across all divisions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing counsel on organizational design, succession planning, and talent management.
Lead change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation.
Talent Management
Oversee talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent in the real estate and private equity sectors.
Implement robust onboarding, training, and development programs to foster employee growth and retention.
Design and manage succession planning and leadership development programs.
Organizational Development
Cultivate a unified company culture that reflects the firm's mission and values while accommodating the unique needs of each division.
Conduct organizational assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.
Compensation and Benefits
Oversee the development of competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with market standards and company goals.
Partner with finance and division heads to manage budgets and forecast workforce expenses.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a fair, inclusive, and safe workplace.
HR Operations
Oversee HR operations, including payroll, performance management, and employee relations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Leverage HR technology and analytics to improve decision-making and operational effectiveness.
Collaboration Across Divisions
Act as a liaison between the parent company and its divisions, fostering communication and collaboration across HR teams.
Align divisional HR strategies with the overarching goals of the parent organization.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (SPHR / SHRM-SCP) preferred.
7 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in complex, multi-division organizations.
Experience in real estate, private equity, or a related industry is highly desirable.
Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution.
Proficiency in HR technology and data-driven decision-making.
