As a Dispatcher at Levi’s Movers, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, orchestrating logistics, coordinating with our teams, and ensuring that every move goes smoothly. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to our company’s growth while helping create a positive experience for both our customers and our movers.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling & Dispatching: Manage daily schedules for moves, ensuring optimal dispatch of crews and trucks to job sites.
- Customer Communication: Act as the main point of contact for customers during moves. Address inquiries, provide updates, and resolve issues swiftly.
- Crew Supervision: Oversee moving crews, ensuring that they adhere to company standards and protocols. Provide leadership and feedback as necessary.
- Problem Resolution: Handle unexpected situations, such as crew no-shows or last-minute changes, and resolve them quickly and effectively.
- Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records for each move.
- Post-Move Follow-ups: Conduct follow-up calls with customers to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Hold movers accountable for their KPIs.
- Team Development: Support the growth of new dispatchers and moving crews by assisting with training and onboarding.
Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, customer service, or dispatching (3-5 years)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with scheduling software
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
- Experience in conflict resolution and stress management
- Experience in the moving or logistics industry (preferred)
- Ability to drive trucks and assist with moving if necessary (preferred)
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturdays 7:30 AM - approximately 10:30 AM, with on-call availability
