Facility Coordinator Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Facilities Director, the Facilities Coordinator manages all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the LJCC campus. The Facilities Coordinator oversees the maintenance and housekeeping staff, both internal staff and outsourced staff. Management experience is required. The Facilities Coordinator oversees minor projects and must have knowledge of systems to be maintained (electrical, roofing, plumbing, pools).
Essential Functions:
· Responsible for developing and implementing staff schedules, ensuring that the maintenance and housekeeping needs of the facility are met during all open hours.
· Creates daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual schedules and checklists for staff and enforces these schedules across the facilities team.
· Delegates tasks to meet maintenance and housekeeping schedules.
· Inventory and order all supplies necessary for appropriate cleaning of the facilities.
· Responds quickly to emergency calls for maintenance.
· Required to attend meetings as deemed necessary. Meet with the Facility Director weekly to discuss upcoming projects, current progress, and completion status.
· Meets with contractors and vendors for preventative maintenance needs as well as contractors for small day-to-day operations or repairs.
· Responsible for program and event set-ups and take-downs.
· Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance repairs and installs about electrical, HVAC, drywall, paint, carpentry, etc.
· Reports any major mechanical or structural problem to the facility director
· Will join in on interviewing and be part of the hiring process.
· Responsible for handling staff members’ vacation time, call-offs, and time off requests.
· Reports any disciplinary problems with maintenance staff members to the facility director.

Have the flexibility to work different shifts. Frequent interruptions may occur. Maintain a clean-cut and professional appearance. Some Holiday/Special event work may be required.
