Under general supervision provides a variety of specialized support services for the Organ Work System (OWS). Coordinates all donor recovery center and perfusion lab needs. Ensures equipment is operational, routinely maintained, calibrated, and functional. Functions as liaison to UAB/UAHSF and external organizations related to Donor Recovery Center (DRC) facility or supply needs. Participates in auditing process of facilities and OWS supplies. Orders, receives, inventories, delivers, and stocks supplies and instruments necessary to ensure an uninterrupted capability to support recovery related activities. Responsible for accurately documenting/maintaining supply orders and receipts. Submits non-conformance report for products received not meeting specifications. Establishes and modifies supply par levels as necessary. Ensures stocked supplies are within expiration dates, properly maintained, and assists in keeping quantities at the correct level. Facilitates audit readiness for all facilities and supplies under their control.
Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of supply/facility management experience. Basic computer proficiency and excellent communication skills required.
LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Required: A valid Alabama driver’s license is required.
