About The Role

This position is responsible for supporting the production of components for various processes in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This includes inspection of components produced by the injection molding machines.

Responsibilities

• Supports a safe work environment by following safety and security policies and procedures
• Supports a quality work environment by following quality policies and procedures
• Isolates suspect components and alerts technician, quality assurance, and/or supervision in the event of non-conformance
• Completes hourly inspections, product identification, and scrap paperwork
• Documents production and quality records on specified forms
• Relocates any defective components to specified scrap containers
• Marks and labels containers, container tags, or products using marking tools
• Obtains, moves, sorts, reworks, and packs
• May be required to transfer palleted material within the production area using a manual pallet jack
• Supports wall plate position as needed, including inspection and packaging of product
• Completes housekeeping tasks, including cleaning work areas using basic cleaning materials
• Attends department stand-up meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instruction and apply to work standards
• Ability to communicate in verbal and written English
• Requires standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, pulling, pushing, and feeling
• Requires eye/hand/foot coordination
• Requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  
  

Travel

• Up to 1% may be required
