About The Role
This position is responsible for supporting the production of components for various processes in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This includes inspection of components produced by the injection molding machines.
Responsibilities
- Supports a safe work environment by following safety and security policies and procedures
- Supports a quality work environment by following quality policies and procedures
- Isolates suspect components and alerts technician, quality assurance, and/or supervision in the event of non-conformance
- Completes hourly inspections, product identification, and scrap paperwork
- Documents production and quality records on specified forms
- Relocates any defective components to specified scrap containers
- Marks and labels containers, container tags, or products using marking tools
- Obtains, moves, sorts, reworks, and packs
- May be required to transfer palleted material within the production area using a manual pallet jack
- Supports wall plate position as needed, including inspection and packaging of product
- Completes housekeeping tasks, including cleaning work areas using basic cleaning materials
- Attends department stand-up meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instruction and apply to work standards
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written English
- Requires standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, pulling, pushing, and feeling
- Requires eye/hand/foot coordination
- Requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Up to 1% may be required
