Position Overview
The Collections Specialist will work closely with the AR Manager to handle collections, posting transactions, and managing customer accounts. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with various personalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing collections and follow up with customers.
- Send account statements and process payments.
- Post transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain and reconcile aging reports.
- Collaborate with the AR team to support account management for 1,500 customers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable or collections is a plus. But, having a positive attitude, follow up capabilities, and communication skills is valued above all else.
- Skills:
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with various personalities and maintain professional communication.
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, data exporting and cleaning).
- Familiarity with Produce Pro software is a plus but not required.
- Soft Skills: Must be receptiveness to feedback and guidance while having strong organizational skills.
Education
- Open to candidates currently pursuing education who demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles and customer service skills.

- On-site role located in Dania Beach, FL.
