Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pool Manager to oversee the operations of our pool facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for guest services, ensuring that all patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience. This role involves managing daily operations, supervising staff, and coordinating events at our resort-style pool area.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the pool facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train pool staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Oversee guest services, addressing any concerns or inquiries to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate events at the pool area, including parties and special gatherings, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records through report writing on pool usage, maintenance schedules, and staff performance.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
- Implement shift management strategies to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
- Monitor pool cleanliness and safety equipment, addressing any maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a managerial role within a camp, aquatic facility, or recreational facility.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for patrons.
- Experience in events management is highly desirable.
- Proficient in report writing and maintaining operational documentation.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
