Apartment Maintenance Coordinator
Lexington Management has an immediate opening for an Apartment Maintenance Coordinator who provides tenant maintenance support on location at our properties.
This is a full-time position, and we work only until noon on Fridays. It’s required to be on-call every four/fifth-week rotation, with the proceeding Friday off for a 3-day weekend. Seriously, the schedule rocks! Salary up to $40,000 per year with LOTS OF OPPORTUNITY TO GROW RAPIDLY, an employee-matched IRA, health insurance and paid holidays. During peak season (April-July) hours may vary.
What it is:
· First in line to aid or trouble shoot tenant service requests
· Schedule and oversee maintenance for move outs
· Perform pre-move out inspection, determine needs and schedule work accordingly
· Schedule and oversee services performed by outside vendors or contractors
· Maintain records regarding preventative/routine maintenance and service requests
· Routine inspection of buildings and grounds
· Supply orders
· Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings
What you need:
· High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
· Work Experience: 1-3 years of prior maintenance experience preferred
· Administrative and analytical skills
· Effective communication, coordinating, and sharp attention to detail
· Willingness to work in a team environment
· Ability to use Outlook, company issued iPhone and laptop
· General maintenance know-how
This role is the perfect balance between hands-on work and administrative skill. A rare find in any work environment! Light travel involved, and a company issued vehicle is provided for use during the workday.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers & fax machines, filing cabinets/etc.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to physically stand, walk, bend, climb, and use full hand range of motion and finger dexterity to touch and feel. Must be able to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted and as needed.
