LHB has an immediate opportunity for an Accounts Payable- Billing Specialist to join our Finance team. The position will be based in our Duluth or Minneapolis, Minnesota office.

- Accounts Payable processing
- General bookkeeping duties
- Employee expense report review and processing
- Assist in 1099 processing and vendor W9 compliance
- Customer invoicing and revenue recognition
- Project set-up in ERP, manage billing terms, and input and maintain project budgets
- Manage sub consultant fees
- Sales journal preparation using ASC 606 Standard for Revenue from contracts with customers
- Sales/Use tax review and reporting
- Assist in entries for month end close
- Other duties as assigned
- Five years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Effective and professional communication skills to internal and external clients
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills with proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work independently and be a contributing member of a team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment

- Associate degree in accounting or finance
- Billing experience in service/construction industry
- Demonstrated auditing abilities
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and math skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret contract for professional service
- This position’s anticipated base salary range is $44,100- $58,800 annually (This position is eligible for year-end bonus & profit sharing, as well as overtime pay for hours that exceed 40 in a work week). Offer will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
