Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at LHC Group in Newark, Delaware.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions.
- Determine treatment plans and perform interventions aimed at improving patient well-being.
- Observe and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising nurse and/or physician.
- Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, or maintain maximum functioning.
- Instruct and inform healthcare team members, patients, and family/caregivers about the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.
Requirements:
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of employment.
- Current CPR certification.
- A current driver's license and vehicle insurance, with access to a dependable vehicle.
