Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: City of Industry (100% on site]

Pay: $27-$30 an hour
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join their team on a Direct Hire basis. The AP Specialist will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and managing the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and a working knowledge of our organization's operations to effectively manage cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable Management:

  • Handle accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.

  • Analyze and improve workflow processes.

• Vendor Relations:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors.

  • Ensure bills and payroll are paid accurately and on time while adhering to departmental procedures.

  • Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges.

• Reconciliation & Reporting:

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

  • Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling accounts.

  • Maintain accounting records by data entry, scanning, copying, and filing documents.

  • Prepare month-end reports and ad hoc reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.

• Experience with AP automation tools is preferred.

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and colleagues.
