Accounts Payable Specialist
LHH is assisting with a search for an AP Specialist for 2-3 month project with a client in Overland Park, KS with potential to go permanent for the right person. This position will work on-site. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Accounts Payable experience. Read below for additional details!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Invoice processing, research, data entry, and purchase order matches.
Contacting internal and external customers to obtain or convey vendor information.
Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Account reconciliation.
Resolving invoice discrepancies and ensuring the accuracy of billing data.
Sorting and matching invoices and checks
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
· HS Diploma-required! Associates Degree in Accounting-preferred
· A least 2 year of accounts payable experience
· Experience with ERP, Workday big plus!
· Excel skills – above average – formulas, pivot tables
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent self-management as well as project management skills
· Great attention to detail and superior organizational skills
