Chief Program Officer
Location : Santa Clara, CA
Position Type : Full-time, Direct Hire, Onsite
Salary : $150K - $180K
Responsibilities : Program Oversight
Oversee the Housing, Foster Programs & Supportive Services Department.
Design and adapt integrated service delivery methods to meet contractual obligations and client needs.
Analyze and assess programs based on productivity data and implement corrective measures as required.
Lead program expansion and design.
Implement best practices across all programs.
Facilitate programmatic collaboration among and across departments to achieve a more holistic, efficient, effective, and client-centered service delivery.
Oversee department grants and contracts to ensure timely completion of deliverables and prompt communication with funders.
Maintain appropriate paperwork / documentation.
Oversee data collection, reporting requirements, and program outcomes.
Communicate and coordinate program needs with IT, People & Culture, Community Resources, Facilities, and Finance.
Hiring, Training & Evaluation
Recruit, train, and develop program leadership.
Conduct workshops and training sessions and connect team members to appropriate training and development opportunities.
Lead training workshops as part of the employee onboarding process.
Provide day-to-day oversight and support for staff.
Financial Management
Maintain capacity in each program with respect to revenue and expenditures.
Negotiate contracts collaboratively with the CEO and CFO.
Assist in developing the agency budget in partnership with department leadership and under the direction of the CFO.
Requirements :
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field.
8 years of experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit or social services setting. Leadership experience is crucial.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple programs and teams effectively.
Understanding of social services, behavioral health, housing, and youth programs.
Managing and overseeing various programs, including behavioral health, shelter, residential, housing, foster programs, and supportive services.
Leading and supporting program directors and staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance program effectiveness and reach.
Working with other executive team members to align programs with the organization's mission and goals.
