LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client of ours in Dearborn, MI that is looking for a Payroll Specialist. This is a full-time, on-site, Direct Hire opportunity. Need to have at least 6 years of payroll processing for at least 800 employees. Responsibilities :
Execute bi-weekly payroll for approximately 800 employees
Monitor employee pay rates and hours to ensure accuracy
Calculate the payroll variance each week
Multi-state payroll
Payroll journal entries
Garnishments and levies
Manage Direct Deposits and all data entry into our payroll system
Assist with benefits 401k audits
Benefits journal entries
Qualifications :
Ability to multitask and handle pressure situations with ease
MS Office Suite : Excel pivot tables required
6 years of Payroll / Payroll Accounting
Specifics :
26hr.-$32 / hr. dependent on depth of relevant experience
Full-time, Monday-Friday from 8 : 30am – 5 : 00pm
