Accounting Manager
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounting Manager for a permanent opportunity with a growing company located Southwest of Richmond, VA.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a small team. Responsibilities include leading month-end closing, managing all monthly accounting functions, preparing financial statements and reports and conducting monthly analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead day-to-day accounting functions as well and month-end close.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including cash flow statements
- Perform complex reconciliations and review reconciliations completed by staff.
- Prepare financial reports for senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws/regulations
- Develop, implement and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of accounting and leadership experience
Skills:
- Multi-tasker with excellent time management and ability to succeed in fast past environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to lead a team
Salary: $90-110k
