Accounts Payable Specialist
LHH is conducting a search for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist hybrid to Newtown Square, PA. Our client is an established, reputable, leader in the food services industry whose corporate footprint is growing rapidly. This is a great opportunity to expand your career (the role is open due to a promotion within the company).
This is a direct hire position hybrid (4x in office, 1x remote) to Newtown Square, PA. This is a very visible position and works closely with the Controller & CFO.
A Day In The Life
In this job, you will play a key role in reviewing expenditures to ensure accuracy and compliance, compiling amounts owed by the company to vendors, suppliers, or other organizations/individuals, and will maintain all payment or other transaction records.
This is a high volume role – the team processes upwards of 1,000 invoices per month. Accuracy and attention to detail is vital in this role as you will be relied on to cut checks and regularly interact with vendors.
This role also assists with month end close, analytics, and accounts receivable functions.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business plus
- Strong working knowledge with MS Office, including demonstrable experience with Excel
- Excellent analytical skills
- Highly motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Salary: $55,000-60,000/year
Location: Newtown Square, PA (4x per week in office)
