What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Coordinator - Temp to Hire position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client in the manufacturing industry that is looking to bring on an Accounts Receivable Coordinator on a temp to perm basis. The client is 100% onsite and is located in the "Back of the Yards" neighborhood. The opportunity would be 90% Accounts Receivable/Cash Applications and 10% Accounts Payable. Below is the detail related to the duties for the role:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Cash Applications. This would involve posting cash, preparing cash deposits, and reconciling the cash account.
- Assist with updating the Aging Schedule
- Collection calls on outstanding balances to commercial customers
- Serve as a back-up for Accounts Payable
- Assist with processing invoices for freight payments
Qualifications:
- Associates degree is a desired or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of commercial collections is desired
- 2 years of cash applications experience is a plus
- Prior experience assisting with accounts payable is desired
- Intermediate skills with excel (pivot tables and v look ups) are desired
- Ability to work in a high volume environment and have strong attention to detail are a must
