The Buyer is responsible for ordering products, materials, and consumables, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring timely deliveries to support customer needs and internal operations.
Responsibilities:
- Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement.
- Communicate with vendors regarding orders, shipping, backorders, and product issues.
- Manage inventory levels, especially critical items like vaccines.
- Run daily reports to monitor supply and resolve discrepancies.
- Track price changes, update internal records, and communicate to teams.
- Support inventory control by monitoring aged, slow-moving, or discontinued products.
- Assist with product recalls and quality control documentation.
- Provide backup for drop-ship orders and other purchasing functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant purchasing experience
- 2 years of purchasing or supply chain experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
