Controller Role in Oconto County
We are working on a Controller position for a national manufacturer in the Oconto area. This position is open due to some succession planning and will be part of a super tenured leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operations of the accounting/finance department
- Maintain a system of internal controls over accounting transactions.
- Issue timely and complete financial statements to leadership
- Coordinate quarterly and annual reporting/close
- Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
- Coordinate capital project proposals
- Proactively provide in-depth analysis of product cost standards and actual results discussing reasons for results and methods to improve performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience
- Prior leadership experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
