What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Attorney - AM LAW 100 position at LHH?
I am currently working with a leading AM LAW 100 ranked firm, who are actively looking to recruit a junior attorney who specializes in Corporate (M&A) to join their Denver office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth analysis, due diligence, and valuation of potential M&A targets.
- Managing the end-to-end M&A process, including negotiations, deal structuring, and integration planning.
- Be involved in the drafting and negotiating of purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements and other ancillary transaction documents.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external advisors to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
- You will work in a high-volume M&A practice, who focus on both the buy-side and the sell-side of transactions.
- You will represent both strategic clients and financial sponsors.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar of Colorado.
- 3 years of experience in corporate law, ideally gained within a large law firm setting.
- Private equity experience is essential.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
