What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Assistant (BILINGUAL) position at LHH?

LHH is seeking an HR ASSISTANT (BILINGUAL - SPANISH) for a contract-to-hire position in Sugar Land, TX.

 

DUTIES:

  • Annual reviews
  • sort and file previous year’s annual review
  • upload reviews into employee profiles in Workday
  • Assist employees with paperwork i.e. FMLA, applications, etc.
  • Update employee status:
  • shift change
  • position change
  • department change
  • These changes are reported to the training department to prepare the employee training class if needed.
  • Turnover report
  • develop a filter method to separate hourly and admin.
  • generate this report weekly for management to review.
  • Employee reaching 90 days with the company:
  • complete 90-day form to transition
  • Uniforms
  • deduct from employees pay when employee places an order.
  • Resetting employee’s password in Workday
  • Onboarding employees:
  • create new ID badges
  • issue uniforms
  • locker assignment
  • additional activity to make onboarding seamless.
  • I-9 verification, application filing, assessment filing
  • drafting email announcements for company events

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma

    •  

    SKILLS:

  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Proficient in Workday a BIG plus!

    •  

    EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of human resources experience

    •  

    EMPLOYMENT TYPE: contract-to-hire

     

    COMPENSATION: $22-25/hr DOE

     

    WORK HOURS: M-F, 8 AM-5 PM
