General operational accounting responsibilities encompass:
· Managing technology capital expenditures, operational costs, firm investments, and prepaid expenses.
· Preparing treasury management tasks, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
· Generating financial reports and analyzing general ledger accounts trends.
· Assisting with company-wide budgeting, forecasting activities, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
· Enhancing job knowledge through educational opportunities and undertaking ad hoc projects.
Qualifications:
· One year of experience in public accounting ideally or the financial sector, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
· Progress toward CPA certification preferred, with proficiency in accounting principles.
· Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage multiple projects, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
· Excellent computer skills, including data analysis and Excel functions, and ability to build positive professional relationships.
