What are the responsibilities and job description for the Qualified Professional position at Liasions Community Care LLC?
Job Overview:
The Qualified Professional (QP) serves as the supervisor of the Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) and Paraprofessionals (PP). QPs are the first point of contact for CPSS and PPs. The QP will assist CPSS & PPs with clinical matters related to servicing consumers. This may include but is not limited to assisting in finding resources, assisting in care coordination, and consulting CPSS/PP on how to help consumer’s barriers/behavior/emotional issues. QPs provide insight and guidance for CPSS & PPs’ professional development and provide monthly supervisions.
Responsibilities:
- PersonCentered Plan & Crisis Plan
- Supervise Certified Peer Support Specialist
- Conduct Quarterly Treatment Team Meetings
- Complete Prior Authorizations
- Complete Discharge Summaries
- Fulfill Crisis Phoneline Duties (2week rotation)
- Monitor & Report Reassessment Needs
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience with prior authorizations
- Familiarity with Microsoft office and Medicaid/Medicare
- Knowledge of behavioral and mental health
- Ability to multitask and great communication skills
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client privacy
